Lisa Strauss and Anastasia Rizikov met last year at the Gautier Capuçon Foundation. From this friendship was born an absolutely brilliant duo: SHUM, from the Ukrainian word for “noise” in French, evokes Lisa and Anastasia’s Slavic origins and the repertoire they support. Two exceptional virtuosos, two young artists driven by the same passion.
