ITS OUTREACH

The Festival does not include concerts from May to July only: it is also an ambitious artistic project so that each one can access to classical music.

A particular profile for the Val d’Oise and the Ile-de-France Region
For 40 years, the Festival teams have brightened the same territories with their energy: Vallée du Sausseron : Auvers-sur-Oise – Vallée de l’Oise : L’Isle Adam – Communauté de Communes Sausseron Impressionnistes, Communauté d’Agglomération de Cergy-Pontoise : Saint-Ouen l’Aumône, Cergy, Jouy-le-Moutier, Vauréal, Pontoise. For 40 years of existence, the Festival has conquered new audiences while following its work on site.

THE OFF FESTIVAL: Bringing classical music to rural areas
The Festival d’Auvers-sur-Oise, often referred to as the Festival of the Territories, has embarked on a tour of the Val d’Oise, and particularly the villages of the Communauté de Communes Sausseron Impressionnistes. In 2021, to celebrate its 40th anniversary, the Festival Management is creating an OFF Festival, entitled “Festival de la Vallée du Sausseron”, running from May to July each year, to bring classical music to rural areas. All OFF Festival concerts are free of charge and performed by young talents or ensembles discovered by the Artistic Direction.
