Miroslav Kultyshev
Miroslav Kultyshev was born in 1985 in Leningrad. He graduated from the Specialised School of the St.Petersburg Conservatory (class of S.M.Tsuker) and of the St.Petersburg State Conservatory (class of prof. A.M.Sandler) where he ended his studies. In 2007, Mirosalv Kultyshev became the winner of the XIIIth International Tchaikovsky Competition and in 2012 he won the international competition “Monte Carlo Piano Masters” (Monaco). Miroslav Kultyshev has begun to perform concerts very early, at 6 years old. At the age of 10, he debuted in the Great Hall of Saint Petersburg Philharmonic with Mozart Concerto n°20 in D minor for piano and orchestra (St. Petersburg Philharmonic orchestra, conductor Yuri Temirkanov). In 2001 Miroslav Kultyshev has been awarded the youth grant of the Russian National Independent Prize the Triumph and in 2005 he has won 1st place and the Gold medal on International Youth Delphic games (Ukraine, Kiev).
Miroslav Kultyshev participated in different Russian and International festivals – Kissinger Sommer (Germany), Elba European Musical Island (Italy), Mecklenburg Festspiele Vorprommern (Germany, 2006), Stars of White Nights (Russia, 2007), September Musical (Switzerland,2007), Klavier Festival Ruhr, Chopin Festival in Duschniki (Poland), Dubrovnik Festival (Croatia), Mikkeli Festival(Finland), Salzburger Festspiele (2011). Miroslav Kultyshev playes in the best concert halls such as Musikverein (Grosser Saal), Mozarteum, Concergebow (Amsterdam), Suntory Hall (Tokyo), Wigmore Hall(London), Lincoln Center (Avery Fisher Hall,New York), Salle Gaveau (Paris). He performs with very famous conductors such as Valery Gergiev, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Mark Gorenstein, Vassily Sinaisky, Alexander Dmitriev, Vassily Petrenko and many others.
