Brass instruments have always had pride of place at the Auvers Festival, and the Quintette Magnifica’s anniversary is a superb opportunity for a festive concert featuring renowned soloists, young trumpeters from the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Cergy-Pontoise and Philippe Brandeis, titular organist of the Cathédrale Saint-Louis-des-Invalides. From Purcell to Handel and Bellini, festival-goers will enjoy a spectacular musical performance.
