The Auvers-sur-Oise Festival and its mission label supporting young talent “DiscAuverS” are delighted to announce the launch recital of the very 1st recording by pianist Illia OVCHARENKO, whom the Festival has been supporting for six years. Discovered at the age of 17 by Pascal Escande, Founding Director of the Auvers-sur-Oise Festival, at the 2018 Piano Campus International Competition, he is regularly invited by the Festival to take part in several of its recital and concerto productions in Auvers, Paris and the Île-de-France region, as in 2023 with the Orchestre National d’Île-de-France in Rachmaninov’s 2nd Concerto.
In 2024, this loyal support and accompaniment in a spirit of residency will result in the recording of a first CD financed by the Fondation Festival d’Auvers-sur-Oise, entitled “Litany”, distributed in Europe by Socadisc.
