“When I was twelve, I used to secretly play the music for certain films as soon as I got home from my conservatory lessons. They never left me”, said Alexandre Tharaud, known as a poet, romantic, passionate about song and theater, who now shares his passion for cinema. In a concert that combines music and images with the Appassionato orchestra, he pays tribute to the composers of the Seventh Art : Vladimir Cosma, Michel Legrand, Philippe Sarde, Georges Delerue, Francis Lai, John Williams…
